Annika Pannitto is a choreographer, performer and teacher born in Campobasso, Italy, in 1981. She trained at San Carlo theatre’s ballet school in Naples and at the National Academy in Rome where she completed her bachelor’s degree in 2002. After working with several choreographers such as Adriana Borriello and Alessandra Sini she started her own work and created her first piece Solitudo in 2007.               

Two years later she began the collaboration with the roman duo kERAMIk PAPIER for the projectsWest/mirage and Condotto©hold which have been presented in several venues in Italy and abroad.

After participating in the first edition of the international project Choreoroam she moved to Rotterdam where she collaborated with Dansateliers for the projects Expedition n.1# Zoom out/ Dordrecht for Urban Explorers festival the and for the second landscape project Noord streamer/auroraborealis.

Driven by her interest in sound Annika attended the course of Sonology at the Royal Conservatory in Den Haag in 2010.

Her last work When you will come to see me I’ll be already gone is the first of a series of portraits ans has been realised in collaboration with film maker Robin Zom and composer Rodrigo Faina.
